UnBlur respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Email Address: Only if you create an account (Guest mode requires no email)
- Images: Photos you upload for enhancement
- Password: Encrypted, never stored in plain text
Automatically Collected
- Device Info: iOS version, device type (for compatibility)
- Usage Data: Features used, credits consumed (for service delivery)
- Processing History: Record of enhanced images (for your history)
How We Use Your Information
We use your data only to:
- Process and enhance your images
- Manage your account and credits
- Provide customer support
- Improve app functionality
We DO NOT:
- ❌ Sell your data
- ❌ Share with advertisers
- ❌ Use for marketing to third parties
- ❌ Track you across other apps/websites
Photos and Face Data
Photos you choose to enhance often show people's faces. This section explains how those photos, and any face data in them, are handled.
- What we collect: only the photo you select and the enhanced result. The app does not use Face ID, the TrueDepth camera, ARKit face tracking or on-device face detection, and it does not create face geometry, face maps, face templates or any other biometric identifiers. We do not recognize, identify or compare faces.
- How it is used: solely to perform the enhancement you request (restore, colorize, sharpen). The image is sent from our server to our image-processing provider, Replicate, which runs the image model and returns the result. Face data is never used for advertising, marketing, tracking, analytics, identification or profiling, and is never sold.
- Sharing: photos are shared only with Supabase (secure storage of your photos and results, so you can see your history) and Replicate (processing). We do not share photos or face data with any other third party.
- Storage and retention: your original and enhanced photos are stored in our Supabase storage, accessible only to your account, until you delete your account in the app (Settings, Delete Account), which removes them, or ask us to delete them at support@berkcan.dev. Replicate automatically deletes the inputs and outputs of each processing request within one hour.
- Your choice: before the first photo is sent, the app asks for your consent to share the photo with these providers, and you can withdraw that consent in Settings at any time.

Data Security

Children's Privacy
Our app is rated 4+ and complies with COPPA. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
